Pudge

I have a brother whose nickname is Pudge
He often won’t move even when I give him quite a nudge!
He is called Pudge because his stomach is large
And I often remind him that I’m fully in charge!
Sometimes when he is asleep on the couch
I attack him from behind and this makes him a grouch!
He likes fresh water in his bowl each day
He meows and meows for it without much delay!
He also asks each day for some treats
I must hurry and take mine before he eats!
All in all I like him a lot
If only he would quit stealing my spot!

Bubby

I have a dog friend named Bubby
He used to be kind of chubby!
See, Bubby would come visit and all the while
I couldn’t help but laugh at his crooked smile!
Bubby chases me all around
A better dog friend I couldn’t have found!
Sometimes I think when he hears my name
He thinks it is his one and the same!
My brothers don’t like Bubby at all
They hide in the bedroom where they can sprawl!
After he goes away
I yell out the door “Bubby, come back some day!”
When Bubby leaves I’m tired as can be
He has worn me out so much I can’t see!

The Great Escape

One day Kramer decided to leave
The world could be pinned to his sleeve!
He made it out the door with a clatter
Causing mom to drop her glasses and shatter!
But once he made his way to the grass
He knew he should have let this one pass!
The birds he saw every day through the screen
Were bigger than he thought they had been!
The cars that made such a sound
Were scarier when he faced them on the ground!
So he cried and cried at the door
Please mom, let me come in so I can touch my real floor!
Dad said, let him learn his lesson
But mom said I think he’s learned that, I’m guessin’!
Once Kramer made his way in
He said, “I’ll never try that again!”

First Video Made by a Cat

Russian Blue

On a boat headed out from the Black Sea
Was a cat named Kramer and his sister named Sweet Pea!
They had been dropped on a boat and didn’t know why
And all they could do was cry and cry!
When they made it to their stop
They were quite scared by this big, bad shop!
It had a red roof and when it rained it clattered
But they had a dry bed and that’s all that mattered!
One day a nice lady came in
And when she saw Kramer she couldn’t help but grin!
See, she had been looking for a gray cat all down the line
And when she saw him she said he must be mine!
Kramer went home with her right away
But he was sad that his sister had to stay!
Mom told him not to worry
Someone would adopt her, too, and they wouldn’t be sorry!
