The world could be pinned to his sleeve!
He made it out the door with a clatter
Causing mom to drop her glasses and shatter!
But once he made his way to the grass
He knew he should have let this one pass!
The birds he saw every day through the screen
Were bigger than he thought they had been!
The cars that made such a sound
Were scarier when he faced them on the ground!
So he cried and cried at the door
Please mom, let me come in so I can touch my real floor!
Dad said, let him learn his lesson
But mom said I think he’s learned that, I’m guessin’!
Once Kramer made his way in
He said, “I’ll never try that again!”
